Hello, Decided to accept the invitation from Monica to jump on an airplane from the Garuda company to fly into Jogyakarta, and visit the region of her family. We were glad she showed us around in Magelang, central Java, visiting several places and tasting local specialities. Amazing how fast a week can pass by, we are back in Bali, with less than a week to go. Hallo, Invitatie gekregen om een bezoek te brengen aan Java om Monica daar terug te zien, ticket gekocht via Garuda Airlines. Ze liet ons kennis maken met haar familie in Magelang, we bezochten samen een aantal bezienswaardigheden en genoten van het lokale eten. Hello, After one week adapting to balinees way of living, we can say we like it very much. Have a simple breakfast, walk on the beach for a while, sit down to enjoy a drink and a meal, rest a bit, watch the result of the euro 2008, another walk on the beach, and then go out for dinner. Hello, We left Australia last weekend, just in time to avoid a lot of rain coming in. We met our friend Fran again, and enjoyed the guiding another time. Meanwhile we arrived in Bali, where a guy waited for us at the airport Denpassar, to bring us to the Pelangi Bali hotel. We survived the jetlag easily, as the time difference is two hours, although we had to fly to Singapore first, and then return another 2.30 hours. Hello, Must be heaven, all the names with Twelve Apostels, Devils Marbles, Eden, Paradise Beach and so on. Anyway, we are about to start the ending of our Australian interludium. Going up the eastcoast now, heading for Sydney by the 30th of May, as our campervan has to be delivered in the depot in Belmore. Time to discover this beautiful coastline south of Sydney, hopping from beach to beach, taking scenic drives, and having good luck as the sun came back on our adventure. People told us the whales are moving in fromthe artic seas, saw some dolfins today, but no killer or other whales so far. It is getting dark by 5.00 PM so time to start thinking about dinner tonight. Hello, What is happening here, time is going so fast. We arrived in Melbourne last weekend, and we had to find our friends John and Abby with no maps. Good that we were here in the neighbourhood 8 years ago, so we managed to find their place rather easy. The road coming this way from Adelaide ( the great Ocean road ) was quite a spectacular one, and again we took a load of pictures. Season is changing a bit, the leaves change colors and start to fall to the ground, autumn is colourful and the temperatures are still nice. Hello, We have crossed the country from Perth to Adelaide now, a wonderful experience. The car is doing very well, hope it stays that way. Today we took it relax as we wanted to do some washing, the sun is drying our clothes on the lines right now. Autumn is coming though, as it cools down quite a bit at night. Next week we are heading for Melbourne to visit our friends living there. Did some wine tasting in the Barossa Valley, was great. Hallo, De lange tocht van Perth naar Adelaide is voorbij, onze auto doet het nog altijd goed, hopen dat dat zo blijft. Vandaag was het wasdag, dus relax terwijl de zon onze was droogt.
