Tuesday morning we left the hostel in Surfers Paradise and spent some time on the beach (beach pics were accidentally put in our last Blog entry). Once we had our fun in the sun, we took the hostel’s courtesy bus into the city where we met up with Graham and Lorna again, who drove us out to their house in Mudgeeraba! It’s a small town inland from Surfers Paradise, but it was connected by transit to both Surfers and Brisbane, which made it a great home base! Once in town, Lorna took us for a little tour around the area, and showed us everything we needed to know to find: bank, grocery store and the movie rental store.
