I think this is the time I should start writing about my travelling explorations. I had this vacation in winter 09 nd I decided not to kill time in Montreal even if it was extremely cold outside. However travelling in winter in America is a different experience. So I went to the US. Fortunately, I had a friend there. Therefore, shelter was not an issue. I went to Cincinnati, OH and Detroit, MI. Lousy weather did not allow me to visit another places. The main difference one can observe in a new place is people out there. Of course, people at [View Full Entry]

Chapter 31 Travels with Cali July 17: I left Flying J about 6:00 am and headed west for a bit, then south. Cali—Wow! I've never seen Mommy up this early before! I wonder what is going on? Crazy fool that I am, I decided not to go through Cheyenne and Denver to Pueblo. I'm not quite tired of seeing mountains yet, so I aimed for Steamboat Springs, CO. That way I thought I could bypass two big cities and a lot of time on the Interstate. (I prefer back roads to Interstate.) Of course, I didn't look closely at the map [View Full Entry]

Today I had the pleasure of being a videographer at a high school girls basketball tournament in Pittsburg, California--a city in San Francisco metro area. My friend's team was victorious in the first round of the tournament and will be facing a new fierce opponent tomorrow night. I was writing down some thoughts in my notebook and some parents thought I was a college recruiter... Even though it was nice to help out my friend and support the team, I hope to occupy myself with activities that I really love--exploring San Francisco and visiting museums. That is what I hope to [View Full Entry]

There have been fierce winter storms recently in some areas of the United States. In the aftermath of the storms a snow fight was organised in one city by a social networking website as a chance for the locals to finally venture out, after being cooped up in their houses for several days. The snow was flying around but one cop took exception to how he was faring, with perhaps a few of the snowballs being too tightly packed! Anyways he decided to pull a gun on his snow flinging tormentors as you do I guess, only problem being that several [View Full Entry]

Cobá, Q.R., a 4 de octubre del 2009. Saludos.

Just left Niagara Falls. We absolutely were amazed with the Falls. We stayed at the Travel Lodge right on Clifton Hills. The town is full of tourist things to do, like wax museums and haunted houses. We took the train and bus from Toronto and ended in Niagara Falls on Saturday afternoon. The temperature was about 3 degrees celcius. It wasn't too bad, for the dead of winter! Heading out today for Montreal by Rail Canada. It started to snow a bit but it's not sticking. Enjoying the trip. [View Full Entry]
