somewhere out there beneath the skies so blue there is a place where angels rest waiting for the noon crow to sing and wake them from their slumber to go and do good deeds helping those who need it somewhere out there beneath the rains of pain there lies a man dwelling with a roof over his head where none have none as the story goes, he is unaffected by the rains of pain on account of the roof who built the roof? he did. and when he emerges from the roof he has an umbrella and the pain just runs down the sides and all around him and he sees it but remains unaffected. lucky guy. Day 2- We are having an excellent camp day on Raccoon Mountain. After Lorelei made her famous Rolly Polly Omelettes using our very own chickens' eggs, Oupa took Lorelei for a quick swim in the pool. There are so many families here, there are tons of new friends to play with. Next, we go to the Go-Karts, where Oupa used his feet and Lorelei steered. We definitely have a budding Formula One race car driver in the making. Now that the day is heating up, off to the Crystal Palace Caverns. It is 60 degrees in side, and we have a private tour with our guide, Chandler. Lorelei is the flashlight keeper, and Grandma is wearing her cool hat that Great Aunt Jeanne gave her with a light built in to the brim. The tour was ... read more

5:30 am we take off for our 6 night vacation, Oupa, Grandma & Lorelei. Lorelei is the Navigator for Oupa, our Captain. Grandma is the official backseat driver. We stopped at the Rest Area near Ocala for "pad kos" which is Afrikaans for "road food". Chicken sandwiches and hard boiled eggs. Which came first, the chicken or the egg? The egg of course! Back on the road, and Jax and Kitty have decided to sleep in.... read more

Hallo Hallo and welcome back. Unsere Jamica Winterreise stand an.

Got up about 7:30 had coffee, walked Oscar and called the rv place to see if they could install a new tv. They could get er done sometime today. I talked to my neighbor at the rv park and he said he would put it in for me tonight. Great, so off I went to Wally World again, bought a flat screen and a wall bracket and was back in a flash since I had the car and didn’t have to unhook everything and secure the interior. Terrific to have a car! Since I had the whole day and it was BEAUTIFUL out I decided to see Lookout Mt. We arrived about 11:30, bought a 3 attraction pass and headed for the Enchanted Gardens, which is part of Rock City. Oscar was welcome so we headed ... read more
