Hello! Nouvelle journée qui se presente a nous...Et tjrs aussi froid, meme un peu de neige aujourd'hui Beaucoup de shopping et bien sur, pas beaucoup de photos! Desolée, mais les prioritées sont les prioritées! En clair: 4 Jean Levis, 6 paires de Tim, deux pulls, 2 doudounes, trois macdos (fallait bien essayer)... Little Italy nous a montré les vrais italo-americains Perruque blonde sur peau bronzé... Dans le restaurant on se serait dit a Rome... marbre de partout, saucisses dans l'asiette et pasta e fagioli!!! Le bonheur! Chinatown, c'est Chinatown!!!Que des asiatiques... On a souvent tendance à associer New York à des images qui reviennent souvent à la télévision: murs en brique, escaliers en fer, bouches d'égout fumantes, publicités sur les toits ou encore taxis jaunes. Well come back! Decision de la journée, aller sur le pont de Brooklyn!!! Sans s'en rendre compte, on a marché pendant 2 heures et finalement devant nous le fameux pont (je rigole! En faite on s'est tout de suite familiarisés avec le metro - tres pratique quand il fait froid - est ca nous a prit 10 mnts - je dois dire que c'etait tres rapide vu la distance qu'il y a a parcourir...) La on commence a se dire qu'on est a NY City!!! Meme si on est un peu dans les nuages a cause du decalage horaire et du froid tres tres frais (-13D) Sur notre lancée, on continue a marcher et tout d'un coup...ambiance etrange...Ground Zero...fe les tours jumelles... Well hellooo peoples!!! I enjoyed getting all your e-mails and messages!! Well I've been here for 2 days now..and finally my body is starting to adjust to the time difference!!!! New York is crazy!!! Its frickin cold man!!! Just went up the Empire State building and as soon as I got up there it started snowing, it was really weird though because it wasn't snowing down on street level..Just at the top!! I finally figured out how to navigate the streets of NYC..I've gotten lost a couple of times..But I finally figured it out and know where I'm going..."I think". Am heading of to the Flatiron District and Madison Square Garden soon... I went into Toys R Us last night..and its MASSIVE!!! Like a 5 storey toy store..Its like a little kids dream come true!!! We got into New York on the 14th of December - my birthday!! - and nearly froze when we got out of the terminal at 6am. We made our way over to the "Big Apple Hostel" and got ourselves organised for a few days of sight seeing. We were staying pretty much on Times square, which made sight seeing incredibly easy. Over the next few days we managed to see most of the major sights, including the Empire State Building, the World Trade Center site, Wall St etc. We managed to get to go to the Phantom of the Opera, which was playing at the Majestic Theatre and had awesome seats as well.
