A word of advice - never, never let four people, all with no sense of direction, dismal navigational/ organisational skills, clashing opinions and armed with poorly-drawn tourist maps (boasting those dreaded words, 'not to scale'), guide you on any expedition, unless you have a great deal of patience and no intention of ever seeing your intended destination :-). Let me explain... On this fine, sunny day, we had decided to rent a car and explore the Garibaldi region (north of Vancouver) - more specifically, to hike 'Brandywine Meadows'.
