November 29th to December 1st - At around 11pm on November the 28th I caught a Greyhound bus to Niagra Falls. The trip was very long (approx 8 hours). When I arrived on the US side of the falls it was very early and still dark outside. SO I sat in Denny's and had some breakfast. At around 7.30am I decided that I could wait no longer and I headed towards the falls. Wednesday November 23rd - Caught a plane to San Francisco - stayed in a hostel for the night... had a quick look around - went on a cable car and then headed back to the airport. Thursday November 24th - Flew to New York.. arrived at 11pm and so got a shuttle to my hostel.. drove through times square on the way there and was blown away!!! Friday November 25th to Monday November 28th - I looked all around NY city.. New York blew me away.. possibly because they describe things in a deceptive way!!! Wednesday I left for Hawaii for a week.. The trip there was crazy!! I caught a bus to Seattle and then had a look around the city, then caught a flight to San Francisco and a flight to Honolulu... I took friggin forever!!! I was not all that impressed with Seattle.. maybe because I was there all by myself lugging around heaps of luggage. I felt a little nervous as there were heaps of scary people (I would not like to be walking around by myself at night thats for sure!). Thought that I should do a bit of an update: HALLOWEEN I went to the Law School Halloween party. All of the NZ girls and some others dressed up as Greek Godesses. We had pre party nibbls and drinks at Kendalls and then headed to the party. Unfortunately the party got cancelled at midnight as an Irish exchange student who has a broken leg got pushed through this huge glass window and there wqas glass everywhere. 8th, 9th, 10th October - Thanksgiving weekend Kat text me and asked me if I wanted to go up to Whistler as she had a ride up there. Thought it would be cool to see the town before all the snow came. The drive up there was amazing... You drive along the waters edge. It will be so awesome when there is more snow. Kat went on a hike so I met up with Debbie, Kendall, Laura and Peter who were all staying down there in a backpackers for the weekend. Whistler was very cute. A classic snow town! 19 September - 7 October My poor travel diary is looking a little sad. I haven't really done anything particularly exciting since Vancouver Island. Univrsity is ticking along. I played netball in the weekend. The game was an hour long (15 minute quarters) and I nearly died because I'm so unfit. That prompted me into fitness action.. I have been running every morning this week!! On the subject of fitness, Vancouver people are obsessed with fitness and health. They are all total gym bunnies.
