On the train to Kosice July 17 2014 We have left Poprad and are speeding on our way across the Slovakian countryside to Kosice. There has been one complication in that this train is 45 minutes late and the connection at Kosice was 30 minutes to catch the train to Budapest. It is kind of important that we get this train as Jane is on the early Ryan Air flight tomorrow morning for Laura's wedding. Thanks to excellent free Wifi on Slovakian trains (yes in 2nd class please note British train companies) we have also established a back up plan.....a minibus leaves outside McDonalds in Kosice at 1am and that would get us to the airport in time for Jane's flight. Sunday 1st June 2014 Well, we did it again. We changed our minds on where we were going next, we have decided to go through Slovakia to Bratislava, before going to Vienna. It was just by chance that we saw that trains go that way and as we were only in Bratislava for less than 24hours in 2001 decided to renew our acquaintance. We arrived at the station in Valtice just before 1000 and then became a little worried when there was no-one else there for the first morning train at 1016. CS mi dala svoj mobil, nastavila mi na nom budika. Moj furt nejde. Stavam o 5.min skor nez zazvoni mobil. Umytie, pobalenie, zlozenie gauca, vyvlecenie navlecok a smer na mhd. CS ma zastavuje,ze mam este cas 20.min. Robi mi caj a chlieb. Som uplne k.o.. Mensi pokec s jej otcom. Bol hraniciar na polskoceskych hraniciach. Na slovensku sa mu velmi pacia kosice a bardejov. Rozlucka a sup ho na bus. Automat ma konecne neodrbal, kupujem 75.min listok. I ked som rozmyslal, nad 20.min studenstkym,bo po vychode z metra neni ziadna kontrola. Z busu rychli prestup na metro.
