The past week has been an eventful one to say the least, and has taken me through the heart of Tuscany, the splendor of Rome, the shores of Italy and into the cradle of Democracy. Siena When I arrived in Siena, all I had was an incorrect phone number and the promise of a section of tile floor to sleep on. After bumbling around at the train station payphone for 15 minutes, I hopped onto a bus, managed to check my e-mail and found my old college teammate Brett. Siena is a small almost medievel looking town tucked away in the hills of Tuscany. Sixteenth century buildings line the cobblestone streets, entwined with pizzerias, gelato shops and bars.
