Cheri says to me "let's go shopping", groan says I. "There's wine..." says she and I was sold. We have been told that the Christmas markets in Frankfurt are something to behold. So we went with every intention of beholding. However, really the story starts a little earlier, around about the time that we were selecting our method of arrival and subsequantly learnt a very very important lesson. We could either get there using a standard airline or using a budget airline. We're fairly poor travellers, what do you think we chose? Perhaps though it is a false saving.
