I will be traveling from Frankfurt Airport and was wondering how best to go by train to Venice, Italy. Any names and links are appreciated. Reply to this

Use the Deutsche Bahn (German Rail) website to plan this rail trip. You can enter in your starting destination as Frankfurt Flughafen, which is the airport rail station.

Unfortunately, pretty well any daytime travel will be rather arduous - it is about 11 hours or so. You do have the option of a night train, but you will be travelling to Munich, from where you will catch the night train to Venice.

By the way, Venice has two train stations - Venezia Mestre and Venezia Santa Lucia (often called Venezia S.L.). Santa Lucia is out in the lagoon, across a bridge into Venice itself. Mestre is on the mainland. If you have to take a train there, you can switch to a commuter train that will take you the rest of the way to Venezia S.L. Reply to this
