I wont lie, im a big girl. A big reason for this is over-eating but my weight stopped raising a years time ago. Currently I have no intentions of start on a diet, im eating healthy due to my husbonds diabetes, and all a scale does for me is making em miserable. Im focusing on health not weight. Even so i do love clothes, and im against the mainstream "plus size equals dark tents" - and Paris being the fashion capital I fantasize about a faboulous dress in a chic design. I know design is mostly a skinny buisness, but Google had the answer! More so than Denmark, Paris got varios Plus Size designers! Im saving the adresses, do doubt. I especially love Jean marc Phillippe http://www.jeanmarcphilippe.fr/ his clothes is amazing AND cheap! ... read more

link: http://www.cph-yacht.dk/ comments: highly recommended - the people there are reliable and very nice. they are great if you need woodwork. but go elsewhere if you need a mechanic. there is a mechanic next door, but he is crazy busy. in two years, I didn't get him to have a look at dandelion's engine even once. in the end, the people from the boatyard gave me a hand. they are great, but they can't replace a mechanic.... read more

Needless to say, that if youre going on vacation, youll need a place to sleep. My sista and I debated where we would book, as the options are many. First we tried Disneylands options, but quickly deemed it to expensive. The we looked at hotels, but many of them was either expensive, badly located or had bad reviews. Then we looked at hostels, but in many cases they cost as much as a hotel. Especially if we wanted privacy, wich is essential when I suffer from socialphobia, and cant handle not being able to be alone sometimes. We then looked at apartments. Sure they cost a bit more, but money saved on the food as we could cook ourselfs. Long googling, and carefull debating we eventually agreed on this: http://www.paris35.com/da/2512/paris-apartment-15338-studio-charenton.html Located in Paris' 12th arrondissement, its ... read more

My dear sistah invited me to Paris! Im really happy about this, though worried. I suffer from socialphobia, and it will be my first big travel ever. Im taking the needed measures to be able to handle, nevertheless I hope others can benefit from my experience. The date is set for April 24th 2011, we booked an apartment and the flighttickets will be ordered in January. I started saving up, so i can get as much as possible as candymoney :p ... read more

Det bliver nogle vilde måneder dernede - glæder mig :) ... read more

Friday 10th September 2010 Up early and a short drive to the small port of Gedser to catch the ferry from Denmark to Germany ( Rostock ). This trip is about the same as the channel crossing and costs about £100 one way. The ferries are on a very quick turn round - 20 minutes from arrival to departure - unloading and reloading, very impressive and well organised. Lunch on board is good and reasonably priced setting us up for the journey to Berlin that follows. The journey to our camp site near Berlin was fairly smooth until we got close to the Berliner Ring which is the equivalent of London's M25. It appears that stretches of this feeder road have experienced high levels of accidents ( probably because numerous individuals driving powerful, usually german built ... read more

Wednesday & Thursday 8th and 9th September 2010 Wednesday 8th Today we hit the road south towards a ferry crossing back to Germany. We stop over at a small town called Sakskobing which is situated at the end of a fjord and is a pleasant location to rest and get a spot of school work and essential domestics done. The area is famous for its apples and we purchase some with a bottle of freshly pressed juice from the roadside. In town we treat ourselves to the local speciality a type of apple pie and take it home for supper. ( see pics ) The apples are very good and have a fantastic aroma ( they taste good too ! ) Thursday 9th Its maths and art this morning. The art session is paper cutting based ... read more

Gelukkig ... read more

Slightly better sleep but only because I resorted to earplugs to shut out the traffic noise. Incredibly when we got back to Tandy last night someone had parked so close that we couldn’t open our main window (and it was stiflingly hot) as it would have meant they couldn’t close their door. We headed out of Copenhagen on the motorway but then directed Clarissa Tomtom not to use motorways and she took us along some more minor, ‘straight as the crow flies’ roads right to the south of Julland to a little place called Hummingham. There is a campsite here and probably a beach a mile or so away but we stayed on site so didn’t find out what else was there. Had a swim in the rather nice pool but, as luck would have it, ... read more

July 16, 2010 Took a tour to Berlin for the day. Was 36 c and the good thing was it was on an air conditioned bus. Had a great couple of tour guides and lots of information as well most of the points of interest. Were up at 0H! dark thirty and on the road by 7:30 am. The day went fast had a Bratwurst and German Beer, was great. Didn’t find anything worth buying but some cheap wine. Returned back @ 8 pm and we were all welcomed back by a brass band and about 30 staff lined up with juice or water and cold towels (they were really good to have) The music was good too. Quick shower and supper and watched the ship pull out for Denmark to the sounds of classical music ... read more
