Woke up haggered from fishing yesterday for some reason. We only stayed out till 11ish and I got to bed by midnight so I dont know what was wrong with me. Got up a bit late and Benny was kind of waiting for me get going. He is the quiet type so you would never hear him shouting or anything. I did my best to throw the old lunch together but there was only a bit of meat left. Someone forgot to pick up groceries haha. Benny had to have a sandwhich with nothing but Caviar on it, but it wasnt the fancy stuff it was out of a squeeze bottle. Oh man he loaded it on to. Monday morning all over again. Didnt really feel like much of a weekend. It was great to be working and not blowing money for once. I was starting to pannick in Sweden with spending so much money. I knew it would be expensive but I thought theres always ways around it. So this was one of the ways. I was really thankful number one for Benny to set me up with this job, without him theres no way I would have found work in Denmark. Number two to be making Danish Krones which are a strong currency. Its about 5 to 1 for Canadian Dollars. Meaning that 5 Krones equals 1 dollar. So this time we had to make lunch. No fancy work today. Got to the site around 8 cause we had to pick up ... read more

Saturday morning on vacation and im up at 630!!! Ha not if Benny didnt wake me up thats for sure. HAHA i was a little groggy but I wasnt used to this crap anymore. Anyways got er going today we would be at a differnet place working on where the roof meets the side of the house. Made our lunches, grabbed our coffees and we were off. It was only 10 mins away from Bennies compared to 35 mins away to Korsor. We had to remember a few extra things in the morning but Benny took care of that action. Its my 20th Birthday today and some of the guys will be coming over from Skibby to have some beers and a fire. It should be nice and quiet, I dont really like a big birthday party. The last couple weeks have been nice, I got a Danish CPR number so I now qualify for Danish health care and Ive found some work as a waiter in Copenhagen although Im still looking at other jobs. I also went swimming in the fjord a few days back the water here is really nice. The wheather is a bit on and off but for the most part its been nice and sunny. The family will be coming over to Denmark in about 3 weeks or so and I think it should be really great. Lots to see, lots ... read more

Our "Castles trip" was very nice. We had a good weather and everything went as planned. At 9.20 we hit the train to Helsingor, about 45 min from Copenhagen, the trip was partially along sea side. Then took a short walk to the castle, which we could see from the train station. There were two reasons we went to this place, first our own city is named after this city, and the famous Hamlet lived in this castle (not really). Every August on the courtyard there are performances of the famous play in all kind of versions including Japanise Traditional Theatre and a very modern one.
