Hello folks, welcome to our final blog entry before returning to blighty! We're currently enjoying our third day in Paris and have been really quite busy. Strolled around the Champs Eleise complete with Rammstein fans, scary; and a Renault showroom with Fernando Alonso's car in. Very exclusivo street. Howdy! Well here it is our penultimate blog from Munich. The first morning we whizzed around the main sites in central Munich, including the rather nice rathaus, complete with Glockenspiel and the huuuuge Frauen Kirche. Hey hey! We are currently sat in a lovely camp-site about 20mins outside of the island that is Venezia. I say lovely but we're living in a box and half of Southern England is currently getting lairy in the 'Gondola Pub'. Venice itself has been a much nicer experience. Hot on the heels of the Vienna blog, we present you with a gripping Salzburg edition! Apologies first, its an injustice to the city that we don't have USB facilities to show you how absolutely gorgeous-looking this place is. Travelling through the scenic Austrian countryside to get here raised our expectations and I'm pleased to report that it has lived up to our own hype. It's considerably smaller than what we have got used to visiting and the fact that it is encircled by pine trees and mountains gives it a remote feel. Evenin' all. Since last we blogged we have been enjoying the delights and....well, the other bits of Budapest. Sam insisted we discuss the extremely fast escalators that you need a prepared run-up to get on 'cos they're so quick. And the lifts that have not been serviced since the fall of the Soviet Union and therefore cant really take Ben jumping around doing busted impressions! Anyways our first night saw us stumbling upon the rather spectacular light-art-show-thing, certainly brightens up the place! Sorry to keep you waiting (again) It's me sorry I've been far too slack (Ben) I think the more Dan and Sam moan about it to me the more I'm like: yeah whatever. Anyway we've done Prague in the time since the last blog and very nice it is indeed. The place was rammed with tourists; how inconsiderate, but hit the top sights like the castle, charles bridge and a variety of other dashing buildings. Hey folks! First of all sorry for the lack of blog-age the last couple of days. Drama struck just like in an episode of diagnosis murder- except there was no dancing from Dick van Dyke. Since i (sam) came to Warsaw id had a bit of tummy ache- thought is was probably a dodgy kebab which dan is so fond of. However a day or so later i got really bad back pain. Ola peeps! Glad you liked the photos. Thought we'd let you see some more while we have the ability! Had an exceedingly nice day yesterday, pehaps inspired by the glorious weather. Discussed the finer points of the famous composer "Chop-in" with Ben, persuaded him that the Polish beer Zywiec is pronounced "six" and I myself (Dan) uttered the words-"sorry I dont speak foreign" to an innocent Polish woman asking for change. Hi from poland! It's Warsaw today after a 6 hour train ride from the german capital. Yesterday we rounded off our Berlin sightseeing, visiting the Olympiastadion, host of the 1936 Olympics and designed by Hitler. I'd nagged Sam and Dan since we arrived in Berlin that we should go there as it's the ground of Hertha Berlin a German footy team and holds 85,000 people - Ben (footy geek) Also carried on our tradition of going up things - despite Dan's fear of heights - went up the enormous TV tower and the Reichstag.
