This morning we drove from innsbruck to lucerne or Austria to Switzerland if you like... The trip was scheduled to only take between 3 or 4 hours, ours was 6 hours of driving but 8 ours in total! I drove today too which actually went well! Even took the little beast up to 140km per hour on the autoban!! So after our night out with the lads last night we lazily got up and packed and headed into the city to viktulian markt which is a massive food and plant market... We wandered slowly round there getting a pretzel for breakfast and being the only people not drinking beer with their breakfast! Picked up some fresh fruit, cheese and bread rolls for the trip ahead... Wandering back we found an awesome cake store and got some black Forrest cake... YUM! Wrote this last night but couldn't get the pics to load... This morning we did a canal ride through copenhagen... We were running late so just made it in time but it was worth it! So different to Amsterdam! Also everything is about their queen which I thought was interesting as there wasn't any mention of the rest of the royal family even though one of the princes got married while we were there! Yesterday we left a sunny Amsterdam behind us and flew to a sunnier Copenhagen! I got sunburnt on the plane, but that is nothing out of the ordinary... weather was gorgeous and i was wandering around all day in a singlet and jeans... less than i wore through the Aussie Summer i think! No not a typo, dag means day over here which has caused much amusement when looking at menus and seeing things like dag soup... Anyways, mum and I spent our last day fairly easily... Slept in, cruisily got ready for the day and caught the free ferry over to the north province of Amsterdam. It was so different! It was so quiet and peaceful! Yesterday we got up at some insane hour of the morning to catch the 655 train to Brussels. It is a 3 hour train ride and mum and I took turns sleeping for half the trip each. Very different to Amsterdam! Found ourselves a map thanks to the novotel and walked across the road for waffles... All we really came to Belgium for was waffles, chocolates and beer hehe... Whilst eating yummy waffles that weren't Vegan, sorry Vegan viewers, we worked out what we wanted to do... So we got into Amsterdam yesterday after some might long flying and about 4 hours sleep each! We had the weirdest guy next to us and he kept his light on the whole flight even though we asked him to turn it off... Mum tried to sneakily turn it off while he was asleep but he was leaning up near the buttons so that wasn't going to work... Anyway got here and found our hotel pretty quickly... Am at the airport now all checked in and ready to go! My tummy is in all sorts of twists anxious and nervous and excited... Devastated though there is no TV though so I can't watch the bombers :( Yes I have my jersey on, socks up and every chance I get I am checking the score...
