there's gold in them mountains!

So after our night out with the lads last night we lazily got up and packed and headed into the city to viktulian markt which is a massive food and plant market... We wandered slowly round there getting a pretzel for breakfast and being the only people not drinking beer with their breakfast! Picked up some fresh fruit, cheese and bread rolls for the trip ahead...

Wandering back we found an awesome cake store and got some black Forrest cake... YUM! Not as much cake as in the aussie version...

Headed out for round two of the autoban which was less scary today and had to pull into a petrol station to grab the toll sticker we need for Austria. This is where we ate our cake...

Mum drove and once the intense amount of sugar wore off I slept until we got to the swarovski crystal gardens... They were pretty cool but less informative about crystal and how it is created and more about art that uses their crystals... Still had much fun playing with the lights and my camera!

From there we headed to our hotel which is right in the center of town... Walked down to see the golden roof and yet and find mum's native animals of Austria T-shirt... The closest we found was one with a road sign with a kangaroo on it saying there are no kangaroos in Austria... Cute

Went for a arice up the mountains as high as we could drive for some city scape shots and proceeded to get lost on the way back down hehehe

Ate our cheese and bread and strawberries and are calling in an early night... Tomorrow we drive to lucerne in Switzerland for a couple of nights and I might brave this whole driving on the right hand side thing hehehe
