hey everyone well im back with the blogs again this time from picture perfect Australia! I arrived in Rockhampton,Queensland on the 30th Dec to do some catching up with my partner in crime, Miss Bridie Kennedy , i spent the first week adjusting my pasty english body to the hot australian sun, getting eaten alive by mosquitos and mildly terrorised by the odd insect that always seems to find its way into my bed! And the rest of the time getting to know the family and seeing what Rocky has to offer! Bridie and i slept in her own private pad formerly known as the garden shed located in the garden (because her sister stole her bedroom), which might i add was awesome, i even got my own double bed! So anyway i was shown the ... read more

After the Maccu Piccu experience we started to make our way down through bolivia and chile with Argentina being our final destination, first stop was Copacobana, a little beachy kind of town on Lake Titicaca. After a 10 hour bus ride which we were promised was a direct bus(blatant lie!) the 3 of us were then loaded off the bus into the middle of no where and escorted by some random to a tini 10 seater mini bus where our bags were chucked on the roof and they piled at least 12 people into the van, but this was not the end of the passengers, along the way we picked up random people by the side of the road and by the time we reached the border we had somewhere between 16-17 people in a 10 ... read more

well this blog is at least 4 weeks overdue but i got there eventually!! After leaving mexico we arrived in Lima airport on the 26th september only to be mobbed by taxi trivers each one offering "good price!" after much debate and haggling we finally found a guy and his friend who agreed to take us to where we were staying for $10 dollars, however it didnt go quite to plan...first they tried to seperate us from our luggage, that was not happening, then when all 3 of us and our luggage were in the car began the task of gettin them to take us to our hostel, peruvian taxi drivers really dont like to take you where you want to go apparently everywere we wanted to go was closed but all the leaflets they gave us of ... read more

After a day in Palenque we got on the bus for a 12 hour bus ride to Playa Del Carmen, this being my 3rd time in Playa we didnt feel the need to explore very far from the beach so we soaked up the sun, done some shopping, met up with gaz and julia, and got very very drunk! which is why i only have pictures of us passed out in various places, i forgot to take the camera anywhere else! after 2 days in playa we got on the bus 40mins to cancun to meet Bridie!! after going all the way to the airport only to miss her by 5 mins, we found her at the hostel and went and partied at coco bongos, our cancun experience was pretty much like Playa Del Carmen after being ... read more

We left Puerto Escondido in the afternoon on the bus to San Christobel which took 12 hours and then a 5hour bus to palenque where we spent a night and went on a day trip to visit the mayan ruins and waterfalls that palenque is famous for. For $10 we had a private mini bus that took us to the mayan ruins where you can explore old palaces and tombs unfortunatly it was a misty morning so the pictures are kind of unclear, we were then taken to misol ha which is a huge waterfall where some of the film predator was shot, its a pretty impressive setting with a huge waterfall that falls into a large pool surrounded by rocks and some smaller caves but the Agua Azul waterfalls that we were taken to next ... read more
