hey, were still on our way home, we made a little stop in writesville beach! awesome place, if you ever get a chance to go take it!! huge beach and 1$ beers! we did one of our big crosses, we traveled 120 miles, 30 hours. then we made another 80 miles jump. we've got another one coming tomorrow and so on up the coast. not too much happening, well its tom's birthday yesterday. so were gonna relax and have a fire on the beach and some drinks with him. oh ya i lost my camera somewhere on the boat so i [View Full Entry]

So were on our way home, we did our crossing from the bahamas. 30 hour trip from great sail cay to the st. lucie inlet. we got boarded by the coast guard in the middle of the stream. they thought we could fit more people on our boat then just us 2. they thought we were smuggleing people into the states. then they came on the boat and realized that would be a joke! during the crossing we had a fish jump into our boat. is was so calm we were watching movies in the cockpit. a fish came and hit [View Full Entry]

Hey Everyone! I know I know its been a long time. Alright everyone so we figured out how to spear our dinners. We went out and bought a pole spear and a hawaiian sling. Brendan yesterday went to test all the new gear out. His first mission out he came back with a big lobster and a grouper. it was a good catch but i was hungry and we were having laura over for dinner. so i sent him back out. he came back with a big 15 pound greater amberjack and another grouper! i was impressed!! he speared them all with the pole spear! we had enough food for our dinner [View Full Entry]

i had to make another entry to put more pics on the site. but we went out today to get some dinner for tonight and we came back with an ocean trigger fish and a few more conch! and spearin fish is so cool. i was using the hawaiian sling today and its pretty much like a sling shot. you pull the spear back in the sling and aim at the fish and hope you get it. it took me one shot and it went right through. just like i knew what i was doing! then the fish jumps around alittle [View Full Entry]

Hey! so we made at across the big bad ocean! it was a little rough but not so bad! we were goin pretty good most of the time. sittin around 6-8Kts for most of the trip! we left fort lauderdale at 9pm and came into the marina here at 10:30!! 13 or so hours it took us but nothing bad happend. well not for us at least! one of our buddies had some problems with his sail and had to stop to fix it, so we stayed bad and well i mean its a little more intense then what i just [View Full Entry]

hey everyone, so we have our window of great weather to cross over to the bahamas weds night. we are in ft lauderdale right now, just bought a couple solar panels today and hooked them up. but we ran out of room and need to get some ss poles and make a mount for them. good thing we brought our welder with us! and we need to buy some more food. we eat more then we thought. so we have a few things to do tomorrow, then were on our way to the angelfish cut to make our jump. rest and [View Full Entry]
