Part of our East Coast trip was our stop in Boston. This provided to be the most amazing game of our trip. We were in the right feild bleachers of a Yankees vs. Red Sox game. It was the Wednesday night game of the week and the matchup was Mike Musina vs. Pedro Martinez. For Spring Break my sophomore year some friends and I went to went to Arizona for spring break. We got a great deal at a real nice hotel on a golf course. We went to spring training baseball games almost every day, went to an NHL game, climbed camel back mountain, and of course went out on the town (it was spring break after all)! As a young Green Bay Packers fan I remember thinking that there was going to be no way that I would ever make it inside of Lambeau Field. I thought that it would be an impossible feat considering the long season ticket waiting list that I kept on hearing about. Here is one of the more random travels that I have participated in. In the summer of 2000 my dad and I went to a Chicago White Sox game at the Metrodome. This is something that we had done for a few years in a row . . . being a Chicago White Sox fan many times my only way of seeing my team in person was to go to the god forsaken metrodome!! Ever since 1999 my dad and I and others have gone for a week long trip to the Boundary Waters in Nothern Minnesota. This is not for everyone but if you enjoy the outdoors and quite evenings by the campfire than this may be the trip for you. My annual trip north is one of my favorite parts of the year as it is a complete paradigm shift for me . . . when you leave the Boundary Waters certianly feel like you have been removed from civilization for a while as you are basicly removed from the outside world.
