Keeping the groove alive, I intend to use this as my travel blog and diary so that you all can vicariously join me on my adventures around the world. It starts in Thailand, and will never end. So far: Asia, Western Europe, and the Middle East. Next Stop: Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, and back to the Middle East.

Hi All, I traveled Westward and Northward to chill out with Cori and rock climb and camp out in her Scamp. For those of you unlucky enough not to know... that is the world's coolest fiberglass camper van. I met her in Bellingham, and we went up to Squamish, BC, to camp and climb. There is so much more to the adventure than I took pictures for, but I find that sometimes when you take pictures, you are trading the moment for the picture. Some of my sharpest memories - still - are those I don't have pictures of. Anyways, I loved Bellingham, and British Columbia. Bellingham is like going back in time 20-30 years and experiencing big town appeal. It was such a nice vacation. You know those vacations when you feel like you need ... read more

No matter where I go in the world, I always want to come back to Boulder, Colorado. There have been a few exciting "firsts" for me recently... I sang at the Rock N Soul Cafe with Janis Kelly. While I have a beautiful voice, it is quite un-harmonized. Soon, we will be trading singing lessons for acupuncture. (Video + pictures below) I gave my first lecture in America. I have given several lectures abroad, but I recently gave a lecture at Whole Foods on Gluten Intolerance, and it was fun. It was combined with a combination cooking class. They want me to do a series of Gluten-Free seminars for the holidays. How fun will that be?!?!? (Pics below.) Several companies have been asking me to write an article on different topics. Will I be a published ... read more

Kids, Grandparents, Parents Coming back to America, I rented the most amazing, beautiful kids. Here are some fun pictures of us together. The lease was up on them May 3rd, and I had to give them back! I was SOOO sad. But alas, I have visitation privileges, and will see them again, soon! I then ran over to the East coast and visited my Grandparents, then up to Virginia to see my parents and surprise my mother for Mother's Day. Then of course, I came back and went rock climbing with Eric. Hilary is baaack! 3 3 ACUPUNCTURE I am due to take the National examS for my acupuncture license. Yes, you read that extra 'S' correctly! There are THREE exams - EEK! PRAY FOR ME, YA'LL!! I'll be a licensed acupuncturist sonn - yeeeeehaw!! Love ... read more

Hi All, For my last bit of my apprenticeship, I headed over to National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH). I studied in a Western Medical hospital, and saw tons of blood and guts! I saw In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intra-Uterine Insemination (IUI), Brain surgeries, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and so much more. The clean pictures are on this page, but the bloody ones are on second page. There are lots of videos!! The first video is clean... just my thoughts from Taiwan, but the rest are as titled. Watch at your own risk, as there is plenty of blood and guts. Lastly, I want to say that I loved Taiwan, and it pained me to leave. I hope to go back, and have been invited back to the hospital, which I may or may not do, but Taiwan in ... read more

Hong Kong Within a few hours of visiting Hong Kong, I thought, 'I could live here!' This is the first place in Asia I thought this, despite how much I enjoyed other places I've visited. Hong Kong is the Europe of Asia. Gorgeous men in business suits working in finance, Comedy clubs, musicals, great night life, live music everywhere, amazing food, friendly people, oh, I can go on and on and on! Hey, how can you go wrong with the place that has the world's longest escalator? The first video above is of a food market, and then lots of live music. The last one is rock porn for us rock climbers. Great view of the water! NEXT: Intern in TAIWAN Heading back to Taiwan where I'll study at a Western medical hospital. NTU is the ... read more

Last days in Tzu Chi Buddhist Hospital in Hualien, Taiwan! I loved how the doctors enjoyed teaching me, and learning from me! It shows how open minded they are, and if they dis-agreed with me, they would openly tell me rather than just nod and grin. I really appreciated that, because it would open up a discussion, and we could talk it out. Thanks, Taiwan, for NOT being China. Now, I'm heading to Hong Kong for a border run. See ya'll in Hong Kong!! xxx... read more
