Feeling the excitement
I could feel the excitement build as I read your blog. Also a touch of sadness as by the time you're back in your own home the kids will be all grown up. We've loved coming to visit you in S.Barbara while they were so little.

Hi from Greece
Hi Guys. You are in Asia again!!! That's great. Amanda and I are in Greece, this time with John and Yannick, so the travel style has changed. We were in Brazil at the begining of the summer. I haven't blogged yet but hopefully will soon. For how long are you guys traveling this time? As always, I love your entries. keep them coming. Patricia

OMG
I just logged onto email to send you a travel advice request and what do I find?? Knew it was a possibility, but didn't actually think you'd do it. So, whats's the plan? Where are you off to? Go on, make me green :) Oh yeah, and we need some advice on Africa. What would you recommend for a three week trip. Would like to fit in some beach time if possible (Tanzania / Kenya?) Thinking of heading there October time.

Animals
Can't believe you actually got some enjoyment out of watching an (evil) dog. Wow, it must have been super-cute. Was also half expecting your cat story to end with you getting stopped at the airport for trying to smuggle a cat out of the country (thought it might have jumped into your rucksac!) Guess it's back to reality now - good luck with the job hunt x

Love the new top!!
Hi, Looking at the two of you together for the last time on your trip made me feel quite sad for you. It will be a big wrench to finally stop travelling and get back into the 'real world'. Is this it for the time being? Are you going to settle down? I'll believe that when it happens! Love your top, can you get me one? Please! Love mum xxx

Hola chica!
Hola Patricia, Que tal? Yes, Scott is back home but I have a couple more weeks. Just moved in with a host family with 12 people (!). They seem really nice. Starting classes tomorrow. The economic news is so gloomy, just hoping we can get jobs.... Fingers crossed!

Hola
Hi Sharon. The tilte of the message goes to Scott, as I understant you are still travelling. I do hope you guys adapt well back here. Big advice: try to turn yourselves off from the news and analysis of the current depression. It would make you feel like going back to India. Actually, I watched a documentary on India yesterday, the good and the bad. Anyways, keep in touch, and let me know when you get a phone number here in the US. I'd love to keep in touch with both of you. Sharon: enjoy your last 2 week, hablando espanol. Tchau Patricia

Of course I remember!
Nimbin was such a trippy place. The mud was rediculous! I think the Irish lads were so drunk that we had to drive home in their friend´s car for them...don´t quite remember either! Can you believe that we lived in Oz together? It seems such a long time ago! I heard a Red Hot Chili Peppers song yesterday and it reminded me of our nutty landlord, what was his name? Think I am getting alzheimers. I do remember him threatening to bury the Tracy Chapman CD in the backyard though - charming!!!

Mud & Flip flops
Your story of trekking to the beach in the mud reminded of me of the festival we went to in Byron. Do you remember? Similar situation - too much mud and totally unsuitable footware - kept leaving my flip flops behind in a pool of mud whenever I tried to walk. Think we had to drive our house mates car back, or something totally random like that. Oh, happy days : )

good memories
They declared Ohio at 6:18 CA time and I knew it was over. Reminds me of the old days riding my bike to work on election day and Tom (Dad?) waving his signs on the overpass at Russel and 113.
