:)
I think you may have messaged me when you were putting this trip together? So glad to see you took the leap, threw caution to the wind and hit the road with the kids in tow. I'll make sure to follow your adventures. Travel safe! Mike.

Nice to hear from you, Mike and Faye
Hi, I contacted a few different travelling families so quite possibly. I was just looking at some of your blogs and found two things that instantly rang true for us too. 1) You said how most dads get to see the kids only an hour or two a day. The trip gives a special time to watch the kids grow up. This is a big part of why we went on this trip. 2) you said it wasn't about sightseeing. The same is true for us. We have traveled so much before kids that this time we are just trying to pick cool spots in the world to just live with our kids a month or so at a time. I see you've been a ton of places, but not African safari. Probably due to cost I'm guessing (and it's definitely not SE Asia budget) but you should check out my recent blog on Kruger for Kids. I can see your boys (and you) enjoying it! Thanks for checking in with me. It's always nice to see that strangers are following!

Love this list!
My jaw dropped when I read what the paper clips are for, that's so genious! Thanks for making this list. We are currently pregnant with baby #2 and have only had the pleasure of travelling once with our first born (now 8 months) so I find these posts very helpful for the future! I hope you guys have a safe journey and that your kiddos appreciate all the fun abroad! -jennifer

Thanks, and congrats!
Congrats on baby #2 on the way. Life will change! We soon realized that curtains were often far too thin so after struggling for far too long to rig up e Tara covers, I had my parents bring these out!

I was born and grew up in Thailand so I'm looking forward to...
reading about your children's experiences adapting to this culture. Mangoes and sticky rice is still my favorite dessert!

Travelling with little girls
That is Africa i know for sure. I have been holding my trip with the twins for along time now, the thought of them giving me a heard time on the road has caused these fear. But after reading Jakes blog, i will surely get them with me on the road the next time i travel.

Your African journey so far
That was a great read! It's fantastic to see how you're able to adjust the kids so well to being away from home in such a unique place of wilderness. You guys are a rare couple - such a sense of adventure with the patience to bring kids along and not get thrown off in any chaos! We admire you :)
