Amsterdam The computer Im writing on has the Y & Z swapped around, so you may see me type words with Z. Some of the other buttons dont work. We started off the day at 8am and went for a bike ride around Edam, home of the Edam cheese. Rode some grandma bike which although it soudns gay as fuck, in reality is the type of bike everyone rides around here and they ride A LOT of bikes. There are entire car park type buildings which are entirely decicated to bikes. Its fucked up. So the ride was nice, scenery was [View Full Entry]

Road to Amsterdam Awake at 5:15am. Tour starts at 6. I'm one of the first people on the bus so I take a seat at the front. Last seast to be filled is next to me in which it is filled bty some chick who spends the first part of the journey vomiting because she drank too much from the night before. Lovely. Despite how it all starts off, I get chatting to the girl behind me who's Australian like everyone else on the trip. We're surrounded by the dingo fucking bastards. There are 4 other kiwis, two from Parnell, la [View Full Entry]

writing this in Amsterdam. Got up ultra early in the morning to beat people to the free internet! The day started well, got on the metro fine, made it to Newcastle with plenty of time, got to the train alright and then the wheel on my suitcase broke. This is going to be an interesting 20days. When I got off the train, I quickly noticed how difficult it was going to be with one wheel. I got to the hotel alright, but completely exhausted and sweaty due to the half hour walk dragging a 20kg suitcase. I don't know how [View Full Entry]

Pre-Travel So things have been pretty quiet lately as I had been taking some time to chill out for a bit before my Contiki tour started around Europe this Thursday. However, before tour, I thought I'd get a little bit of travel done to prepare myself for the big journey. Before I left for Edinburgh I needed to buy a phone charger (left mine in Blackpool) and some new shoes as having one pair proved to be a tad uh "smelly".. The only problem was I've got big feet and no-one had my size. I searched all the shops in Newcastle, [View Full Entry]

Bamburgh Castle Since Raph had been neglecting me by doing horrible things such as working, on her day off she decided to take me to a castle because I'm easily entertained. And off to Bamburgh we went. Bamburgh Castle's about an hour and a half north of where we're staying. Again it's completely different to the castles I've been to as it's a lot more modern then then the others. It's more of a 18th-19th Century Castle that still has some rich bastards living in it. Imagine that, living in a Castle that's open to the public. Sure you've got your [View Full Entry]

I haven't had the chance to write for awhile because I basically spent 3 days at home resting and doing sweet fuck all after the Rebellion Fest. Just reading back on my previous entries I really don't illustrate how awesome the Rebellion Fest was and how much fun I had. It's quite hard to describe seeing a band who made you sit back and think "Wow these guys rule" in more then a sentence without using sexual innuendos or writing a novel. So to get you in the mind frame, think of the best band you saw live. Times that by [View Full Entry]

I'm really tired at the moment so this blogs going to be pretty boring. Oh by the way, I didn't take any photos at the Rebellion Fest at all incase my camera got broken. Blackpool had nothing worth taking photos of so I didn't bother. B & B Observation Now in Newcastle. Just had a read over all my other blogs and noticed a part of it has been deleted some how. I basically went into detail about B & B I stayed in. So since it's not there, I'll try and recapture the experience. The room cost £15 ($40) per [View Full Entry]

Rebellion Fest - Day 3 Day started off as it did when I arrived here. After going to the internet cafe it poured down chronically. I got completely soaked. Arrived at the Rebellion Fest completely drenched. I had to basically stay there the entire day with soaking shoes and socks. Not the most pleasent feeling I tell you. Met up with Jane and Gareth after laughing at a guy who had a t-shirt that had BAW SACK in large letters. This amused me greatly as a common insult for people in Scotland is Baw Sack. Gareth says it like every day. [View Full Entry]

The Something Somethings hahaha I've totally got to give this it's own personal mention before everything. They were the first band I saw yesterday and while they were playing the singer is like "Alright, I'm about to bring out the biggest slut you've ever seen. I've been fucked by her, you've been fucked by her, everyone you know has been fucked by her... and here she is! *Brings out a inflatable beach ball of the world cut open* hahahaha. Then out comes this dude in a Tony Blair mask and him and the singer went to work on the world hahahaha. [View Full Entry]

Horse Riding What a terrifying experience. Fortunately I only went for an hour. I now have massive respect for anyone who rides horses. I was the tallest person and heaviest person (although that last parts debatable as there was this girl ther who was fucking obese. I felt bad for the horse) so i got the biggest horse. As I went to climb on to the horse, it tried to fucking bite me. We then get shown around for about 5 minutes, which really didn't cover anything what so ever. Then the send you out. My horse was panting angrily when [View Full Entry]
