Here we are in India! Quite a culture shock - we don't know anything - but we're managing and getting wiser by the day. Our hotel reservation was cancelled with an apology in Delhi, forcing us to replan and leave immediately for Jaipur! Travel by road is harrowing but has a strange flow involving heavy use fo the horn and intimidation. It's quite dry and rocky in this region with scrub vegetation.

After a good night's rest we feel more like ourselves today. Some pictures of the Amer fort and other sights attached, the fort is just huge.

Beautiful!
Off to a fantastic start!! The Wind Palace is aptly named, it reminds me of a monstrous Whirlitzer When I blur my eyes. Love the hats you guys! Ciao, Aaron

Have fun!
Hi guys - I can't believe you're finally there, and already managed some major itinerary changes! John blends in nicely with the white background of the cremation house in the picture -- I can't wait to see how native you look after 6 months in the burning sun! Keep blogging to give us back home a chance to escape around the world for a few minutes! Anaud
