Franco had mentioned there were markets at Panzano so we took off early, about 11.00am. We are getting used to the roads so found the drive to be quite nice.  The markets were huge and we then enjoyed a lovely pasta lunch with sparkling rose.

From Panzano we drove onto Castellina in Chianti, a beautiful village with shops to browse and gelato to enjoy.

We arrived back at the villa late afternoon and as we brought so much wine decided to stay in for dinner and drinks. Prosecco and rose was accompanied by proscuitto, melon, cheese, olives, pesto, bread, balsamic and oil. Such a great night. G kept mentioning "gee that wine is going down really easily".

We have a few neighbours and have named them all. (Not their real names). Isabella and Phillipe from France who we have decided are on their honeymoon and argue a lot. The three lesbians from Quebec who we are scared of. Wilhelm and Berta from Germany who don't seem very happy and she cries sometimes.

All up a very nice day, no arguments, no dents in the Fiat.
