Wow! It is hard to believe that in 10 short days, I will be on my way to Rome! Just a few days ago, it finally hit me that I will be in Italy for 5 weeks this summer. Also, my parents will be meeting me in Poland for a week vacation.
During the 5 weeks, I will have two full weekends free to travel. Along with some friends, I have been researching places in Italy to travel, but I never knew how much detail goes into these plans (shout out to my Dad for making it looks so easy!). We have decided to visit Venice for our first weekend, which has been on my Bucket List for many years!
I have purchased an English-Italian phrasebook to learn some Italian before leaving. So far, it has been going very well, and my parents say I sound very natural (most likely due to the 5 years taking French). We’ll see how well this will go; hopefully, there will be a lot of English-speaking Italians.
I am just starting to pack for the trip, but this will be a difficult task for myself. For many who know me, I tend to over pack for a weekend trip to my Aunt’s or vacation to Florida … so this will be very difficult to decide which clothes and shoes to bring. Luckily, I will have my mom to help me make the final decisions!
Ciao for now!
