Packing (or rather unpacking) and farewells

Two days before we fly and I must admit the reality of what we're doing has yet to set in. We will likely be up in the clouds on Friday before it hits us! We've had a very busy week catching up with friends and family, and packing. And then unpacking. Who knew 65 litre backpacks were so small!

We're hoping to document our travels and adventures on here for family and friends so you can follow us around the world. I'm secretly hoping that the blog goes viral and that we get a book / movie deal out of it. But failing that we will hopefully at the very least provide some light entertainment for you over a cup of tea.

Hard to believe the next blog post will be from sunny Africa. Until then...
