Summertime

Summertime has arrived in Manaus and it is hotter then ever. The sweat is plentiful and the air conditioner is a heavenly escape. I am really enjoying my time teaching English to the local kids and have recently started private Portuguese classes with a man named Jóse from Portugual.

Next weekend we are travelling to Santarem, an Amazon city 100 miles down river. Life is good......
