Off on our overseas adventure!!

Hey friends and family!!

Well we've left our lives in Japan and are now at Sydney airport about to leave Australia.

Arrived back in Oz on Friday morning after a very emotional and tiring time packing and saying goodbye to all of our friends in Japan.

We had an awesome last week in Japan. Last Sunday night we had a huge farewell party with all workmates and friends. We ended up of course doing Karaoke until dawn. It was such a great turn-out and a fabulous way to say goodbye.

Packing all of stuff was made a lot easier with my parents, Eddie and Valerie stopping over in Tokyo on their way back from Europe to help us take all our stuff back to Oz. They were absolute life savers!!

It's been so strange being back in Australia these past couple of days. I find myself saying "In Japan........" quite often. It'll take some getting used to when we are eventually back in Oz for good.

So tonight we are off to Bangkok. Our flight leaves around 9pm. We'll be spending 4 days in a fantastically beautiful resort in Phuket called Cape Panwa Resort (check out their website). Friday we're arrive in Germany and we'll be all over Germany, Holland, England and Spain before making our way back in Oz early December.
