Left Perth at 6.05am on Sunday. Emirates flight half empty so we had space to spread out. Flight was non-eventful but long, slept, watched several movies, crocheted, ate, read, slept, ate, you know how it goes on an 11 hour flight. Transit for 3 hours in Dubai then it was groundhog day and it all started again for 7 hours.
I've decided that it is very easy to get into Ireland, just answer the question of how long you are staying and smile and you get a stamp, customs didn't even look at my photo or details or anything, quickest customs I have ever been through!
Picked up our car, entered hotel address in Tom Tom and off we went. Turn left, woops that's the windscreen wiper, turn right, woops clean windows again, remember it is a manual Robyn. Arrived safe and sound at Castle Hotel. Cute quaint hotel sprawling though old building. Directions to the room, through that door then you'll see another door. through that one and you'll see a green couch, don't go past the couch, turn before the couch and you'll see a white door, go through that door, then you'll see another white door
with a number, if it is 103 it is yours! Directions perfect, she was right! Gorgeous room, could hear the Irish music coming from the bar downstairs and beds so comfy.
Booked on a hop on and off bus today to see the sights of Dublin.

The lights/wipers thing - you too?!! Glad someone else does it. Is that a Suzuki you're driving? Hope the jet lag wears off quickly so you and Andrea can enjoy the sights (and check out the bar in the Castle Hotel). Pax, D
