Well hey everyone time for another update, sorry still no pictures cant find an internet cafe with the capabilities and the one im at is to freekin slow of a connection, my next entrys could be for infrequent depending on where i find internet places now that im in cambodia. Oh well time for the update:

I left yesterday morning at 5am to go catch the 6am bus to the cambodia border which was okay, the bus was a government bus and was really cheap $8 then i caught i little van to the actual border because the bus stops 89km away from the border $3 then i crossed the border and got the visa for $20 dollars after much debate, the actual price is 20 but they try to charge you more to pocket the change, then it was onto a scooter to the nearby town so i could catch a toyoto camry to phnom penh, well since i decided to travel outside of peak times there was no one to share the price of the camry with, even waiting around for 2 hours for some other traveler to show up but no one did so i hagelled with the guy for a while and then finally got it down to $20, not bad for the whole car but i was beggining to think that this was a really expensive day (relatively that is, everything is relative) so the roads in cambodia vary from mud to nice highway and the first 4 hours was pretty much all mud with 4 ferry (well they resemble rafts more than anything) crossings. But finally i got to phnom penh at 11pm so a long day of traveling, for the way back im thinking im going to skip all that nonsense and fly for $60 bucks.

Today i met up with one of the people from my tour group (tonight is when we all meet up with eachother and the group leader) and we went to the russian market and the national museum (which was pretty small) and a couple other places, oh yah on a side not did you know the crocadile hunter died crazy stuff (a couple ozzies i ran into had to tell me that) well thats all i got in me for today (im feeling lazy) so later

Amazing Memories in the Making
What a truly amazing experience you are having Trevor. It leaves me very envious. Take in everything you can, the history in this area of the world makes Canada seem like it is still in its infancy (and I guess it is). The irony is that you are probably longing for home but we are longing to be where you are. Enjoy every part of it. Things are good here in St. Albert, we have completed one week of school, the best analogy is one of trying to jump onto a tread mill that is going full speed. Ayden and Brenna are having a great start and Concordia is treating Pam well. Everyone says hello (it's late and they are all actually in bed but I'll fill them in on everything. Take Care, Uncle Shawn
