Gay Club!Gay Club!Gay Club!

Summer and I at the gay club...I work with the guy in the yellow....
So, knowing that my time here is coming to an end, I am trying my best to squeeze as much as possible into my weeks. Luckily, on Thursday I was extended until the 15th of September so I was given an extra week...that was nice. But I still have to work of course. Anyways, this week I went to a gay club with another Ariel to watch one of my co-workers do his drag show. It was actually very well done and I was impressed. Being gay in Japan is a very quiet thing. I didn't even know that my co-worker was gay himself. So, the club was very normal. But yeah, we stayed and danced for a while then headed home. Well, we attempted to go home. But sometimes the train stations can be pretty confusing and there are different trains running at night. So, we almost missed the last train and we would have had to take a taxi home...and that would have been at least 10,000 yen, which is about $100. But we made it on the train so we were fine.
Later in the week I went back to Odaiba. We went to go check out

Yeah...those are all dog clothes!!
the pet shop. Obviously, I miss my friends and family but I really miss my pooches. So, going to the pet shop was a good way to get my fix. The pet shop was huge. There were even monkeys there. They had a photo place, a doggy bakery, clothes and accessories and alot of animals. It was amazing. Any animal would be in heaven there. It was pretty fun.
Then on Thursday I went to another Yukata boat party with a bunch of people I work with. It was a lot of fun...maybe a little too much fun! I had early shift the next morning and it was a toughy. I would not recommending doing any flips or dives after a night of drinking. I took it easy on the drinks at the party but the other girls had a tough Friday. But it was a lot of fun and it made me realize how much I love all the people I work with. I am really going to miss them. Well, this next week will be a tough week because it is the end. Everyones last shift is on Monday, September 4th. I am staying to work until

Love always,
Megs

hard to say goodbye
It looks like you are still having a blast Megs- enjoy every minute of it- isn't it funny when something is about to end, you realize how much fun you had- hopefully you enjoyed the entire ride...it will always be an experience of your lifetime...just think- in 35 years- you could be telling your grandkids all about your adventures in Japan. (and they'll probably just role their eyes- and say- Grandma is crazy:p) Have fun! We miss you and can't wait to have you back here in Canada!!!!!
