Yesterday we had a wonderful meal at a restaurant in the suburb of Lapad. It was a 20 min walk or so from where we are staying. The Lonely Planet reccommend it and for once they are right. It is called Levanat. You have to walk along a path for a lot longer than the LP map would suggest but it is well worth it. Finally I can honestly say we had a lovely meal, with fantastic silver service in a to die for quiet setting by the bay, and we werent surprised when the bill came.

Another thing that I have been doing unconsciously, which I think is hilarious, is saying No Thanks to all the touts in perfect Swedish!! It just comes out. I have been saying, ' Neigh Tack', pronounced Neigh as in horse's neigh and tuck, as in tuck your shirt in......instead of No Thanks. God only knows why that is happening. I can only assume by the time I get to Greece I will be saying 'thanks' in perfect Croatian, which is 'Hvala' not sure if I have the spelling right.

Today, Thursday is our last night here. Jeff has gone back to the wonderful Levanat restaurant for a coffee and swim. Oh yeah that's right, you can have a drink at Levanat's outside cafe over looking the water, then walk down the steps beside the place and dive in for a swim, then come back up and get a beer, and do it all again. Great!!!!!!!!!

I am just having a quiet day today as am feeling a bit tired. Tomorrow could also be a tad stressfull with trying to sort out our own accommodation once we get to Split, then ferry over to the island of Hvar. Not being being able to read the language, understand signs etc is hard work.......... LOL

I am hoping that by the time I get to Greece the temperature there will have dropped a bit. Pavlos tells me it is still hitting 40 degrees there at the moment. Yikes!!!!!!!

It is so nice to read your blog! Sounds like you are having a wonderful time. I wish I could have been there with you... Here in Gothenburg it has been thunder and heavy showers just about every day since you left. Hope it will be better by the time you return. Looking forward to seeing lots of photos!
