Matthew has been on half term this week so I have planned a few days out!

Our first day was to visit Shui Shang Gong Yuan!!

This is a lovely water park in Tianjin. It was a huge place with so much to see and all the flowers were in bloom so we picked the right time to come. There was a big lake in the centre and lots of areas around the edges connected by lots of bridges. We found a lovely area to stop and eat our picnic. The buildings where hand painted with Chinese pictures and patterns. We went for a boat ride, something the boys had been asking to do for weeks. I went to pay at the counter and the lady said it was 50 RMB (£5) so I handed my money over and she then said 300RMB! I walked away moaning to myself about the price and climbed onto the boat with the boys. It was a peddle boat so guess who did 95% of the work!! It took us half an hour to peddle under a bridge but we got there in the end. Lots of boats passed us, taking photos of the boys as they went by!! Then after an hour my legs were aching so we headed back to dry land.............The old Chinese men were laughing at my peddling and Williams steering and they had to help us in the end!! Then as we headed to the next garden the lady at the ticket office shouted after us...........thinking what on earth have we done we went back and she handed over money....250RMB!! I miss understood her, we had to pay a deposit to make sure we return the boat back!!

The Water park is connected to the zoo by a big bridge so we headed back there, went on a few rides which looked like I may have to get out and push some of them!! They were very old shall we say!! Then we had an ice cream stop. The boys had a great time, apart from having to stop every 5mins for photos!! The Chinese like to take photo's of their child with Matthew and William!! It got to the point where William said "no more photos, I'm tired now"
