Vuelta a Santiago

Esta mañana he devuelto la bici, he hecho mi maleta y me han llevado al aeropuerto. El vuelo se suponia que salia 1 hora mas temprano pero al final como ha llovido mucho nos han tenido esperando y hemos salido a la hora programada. A santiago he llegado 5 horas mas tarde y directo para casa con el Transvip, por 6 lucas te dejan en la puerta de casa. Antes de dormir he desmontado la bici y la he metido en la caja, no ha sido facil pero me ha quedado bastante bien, asi que no tengo que buscar una caja nueva, eso es una estupenda noticia. El segundo dia he ido a comprar algunos repuestos, imprimir papeles de visado que me requieren en Nueva Zelanda, conseguir dolares y de paso mandar por correos souvenirs y trastos varios. Aqui en Santiago los empleados de correo no son tan majetes como en los pueblos, he intentado mandar un par de cosas por correo ordinario pero no me han pasado ni una. Si los sobres van por correo ordinario te sale como por 1000 o 2000 pesos, pero si van como paquete cuestan alrededor de 4000 pesos. En esta ocasion me ha salido cara la operacion. Despues de eso hemos ido a la universidad de Gaspar (uno de mis inquilinos) a cortar su candado (de hecho era mi candado en espiral), que el fin de semana le robaron las llaves de casa, y alli estaba tambien mi ultima llave de candado. Mejor asi, menos peso para el avion. Y de ahi vuelta a casa para ultimar el equipaje. He reservado en transvip una ida al aeropuerto, pero esta vez, por llevar 2 piezas de equipaje grande no puedo ir en coche compartido, asi que me toca pagar 20 lucas, por ese precio es transporte privado. Al menos asi no tengo que arrastrar la bici por medio Santiago. En la mañana del tercer dia he ido al aeropuerto, en el check-in de Quantas no te dejan pasarte ni un kilito de nada, asi que he reorganizado mi caja y mi saco, y he metido cosas pesadas en los bolsillos del abrigo y en una bolsita de tela que llevaba colgando del hombro, y finalmente he conseguido hacer un milagro (22,9kg una pieza, 23,6km la otra, 8,0 kg equipaje de mano). La verdad es que tocan mucho las pelotas con lo del equipaje, hay excepciones pero la cosa parece que va a peor cada año. Este incidente al menos me ha salido gratis. Luego me he plantado frente a la puerta de embarque del avion. Y ahora escribo cuando deberia estar hace casi 3 horas en el aire, nuestro avion esta en tierra por reparaciones, he perdido mi conexion a Christchurch y he cancelado mi hostal alli, asi que no se muy bien que va a pasar.

This morning I gave back the bike, I made my bag and went to the airport. The flight was supposed to came out one hour earlier but in the end as it has rained a lot we have come to the scheduled time. I arrived Santiago I arrived five hours later and went home with Transvip just for 6 lucas they leave you in the door. Before going to sleep I disassembled the bike and I got into the box, it has not been easy but it has worked, so I do not need to look for a new box, that's great news. The second day I went to buy some spare parts, printing papers requiring me for my visa in New Zealand, get some US dollars and send several packs with junk souvenirs. Here in Santiago post employees are not as nice as in the villages, I tried to send a couple of things as regular letters but they did not accept it. If I send stuff like I wanted it will cost me about 1000 or 2000 pesos, but if I send them as package the cost ist about 4000 pesos. This time the operation happend to be expensive. After that we went to Gaspars University (one of my tenants) to cut his lock (in fact it was my spiral lock) , he borrowed it but in the weekend all his keys were stolen, and that was also my last key. So better, less weight to the plane. And from there back home to finish packing. I have booked a trip to the airport with Transvip, but this time, bringing 2 pieces of large luggage I can not go on a shared car, so I have to pay 20 lucas, that price is for private transport. At least not so I have to drag the bike through Santiago. On the morning of the third day I went to the airport, at the check-in of Qantas they are do not let be over even a kilo, so I rearranged my box and my bag, and I put heavy things in my coat pockets and a small cloth bag, and I finally managed to make a miracle ( 22.9 kg a piece, another 23.6 km , 8.0 kg hand luggage). They are really anoying with all this luggage policies, there are exceptions but the thing is going worse every year. This time at least was no extra cost for me. Then I have seated in front of the boarding gate. And now I write that when I should be about 3 hours ago in the air, our plane is grounded for repairs, I lost my connection to Christchurch and I canceled my hostel there, so do not really know what will happen.

Nueva zelanda??¿??¿¿ Vaya! tiene buena pinta! K vaya bien por ahí! Por aquí ya ha llegado la primavera y la temporada de esquí está tocando casi fin! Hemos estado unos días que hemos llegado casi a 20ºC. En fin, a pedalear chacho! Adiossss!! JOrge.
