El barco salia hoy a las 10 de Puerto Yungay. Hemos desayunado un cafe donde el kiosko y Juan nos ha regalao un par de panes recien horneados. En Puerto Yungay hemos encontrado a una frances al que llevamos varios dias viedo, en el refugio del puerto del ferry. La carretera no es muy mala aqui, durante los primeros 50 km sube dos puertos de montaña pequeños (400 o 500m). Aqui nos hemos topado con unos franceses en bici que van hacia le norte, que nos han dicho que el jueves no hay barco y hay que esperar hasta el sabado. Por tanto tenemos que hacer lo que estaba planificado como 2 etapas en una. Asi que no nos hemos metido en el refugio que habia en el km 50 y hemos continuado hasta Villa O´Higgings. Por suerte el camino seguia siendo bueno, bastante plano y con viento a favor duarnte los siguientes 50 km. Finalmente hemos llegado al destino en la noche, usando la luz de las linternas. Aqui nos hemos encontrado con otros ciclistas que volvian de pescar, que nos han informado que por fuertes vientos previstos para el miercoles, uno de los ferrys del miercoles se postpone al jueves, asi que la paliza ha sido en vano. En Villa O´Higgings termina finalmente la Carretera Austral, estamos muy cerca de Argentina. Esta noche nos metemos en un hospedaje para descansar bien, mañana es dia libre para prepararse para la siguiente fase de la travesia, que consiste en llegar a Argentina por un camino de 20km que parece que es imposible para los coches, y dificil para las bicis.

The boat went out today at 10 from Puerto Yungay. We a coffee for breakfast at the kiosk and Juan gave us a couple of freshly baked breads. In Puerto Yungay we found the French guy again, in the shelter of the other ferry harbour. The road is not too bad here, for the first 50 km up some small mountain and two mountain passes (400 and 500m). Here we encountered some French guys cycling north, we have been told that there is no boat on Thursday and have to wait until Saturday for the next. So we have to do what was planned for 2 days in one. So we have not gotten into the shelter that was in the km50 and have continued to Villa O'Higgins. Luckily the road was still good, fairly flat and downwind for the next 50 km. Finally we reached the destination at night, using the light of lanterns. Here we have met other cyclists returning from a fishing afternoon, they have reported that beacuse of strong winds expected for Wednesday, one of the ferries is postponed from Wednesday to Thursday, so the beating was in vain. In Villa O'Higgins finally ends the Carretera Austral, we are very close to Argentina. Tonight we get into an inn to rest well, tomorrow is day off to prepare for the next phase of the voyage, which is to reach Argentina on a path of 20km that it seems impossible for cars, and difficult for bikes
