In front of the Indiana Jones Ride! Hello Everyone,
Sorry it has been a while since my last blog. I have been so busy working and hanging out with my Mom and Dad. But I have alot to tell of our adventure so far. So, they arrived in Japan on Wednesday August 2nd and I got the chance to go and meet them in their hotel room after I finished work. I was so excited to see them, my heart was beating so fast. But as soon as they openned their hotel room door and their familiar faces appeared it felt like just yesterday was the last time I saw them. It was really nice to have them so close to me.
So, after a few minutes of chatting we decided to go to Planet Hollywood for dinner. It was a nice traditional American meal. He! He! We hung out for a short 3 hours and then I had to go home because I had to work very early the next morning.
After work I met Mom and Dad at Ikspiari (a shopping area by Disney) and I took them on the train for the first time to Shin-Urayasu station where I live. Once

Indiana Jones Ride! we arrived I showed them the amazing 100 yen store and a few of the shops at the train station and then we walked to E-village to see where I live. I was really excited to show them my home because it really is my first place. We hung out for a little and they checked their e-mails and hung out for a few hours more. On our way to the train station home, we stopped for Indian food for dinner. This place serves the world's best indian food....or at least I think so. I think my Mom and Dad will agree. It was pretty damn good. Mmmm....But after we ate we called it a night because the next day was a long day at DisneySea to see my show. Ahhhh!!!
The next morning I was number 2, which means I did the 2nd set of shows. So, I was really nervous and a little worried that they wouldn't enjoy the show as much as I had hoped. But as soon as I saw their faces in the audience I knew they were proud and impressed. The show is pretty cool in person I must admit. But yeah, they

Mom and Dad in front of the Rainbow Bridge, the Statue of Liberty and the Tokyo Tower watched 3 of my shows and then I met them in the park at about 2:00. We watched a few of the shows in DisneySea and went on some fun rides. Mom and Dad were there for about 12 hours, so it was a long day for them. But it was lots of fun!
The next day we met and went to Akihabara...Tokyo Electric Town. I think Dad was in heaven. There were gadgets and gizmos a plenty...there were whos it's and what's it's gallore....hehehe...I'm a nerd I know! We bought a few things and then went back to Miahama station where the Disney Resort is. We then went and saw "Pirates of the Caribbean 2" and then went for dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe. After dinner I went home and Mom and Dad went back to their hotel.
Unfortunately, on Sunday Mom wasn't feeling too well so Dad met me at Shin-Urayasu Station and we went and did some shopping together. We spent a good 5 hours just browsing around the Ito Yokado....the mall by my house. When we were done we went back to my parents hotel and watched "Flight Plan" and Dad and I
Odaiba
Dad playing in the Arcade! played video games until I had to go home.
On Monday we set out for Odaiba. The more modern and futuristic area of Tokyo. We went to the Toyota showcase car museum called "Mega Web". We spent a few hours there looking at all the cars, and then we did some shopping. We didn't find much as far a shopping goes but it was a different expierence for them. We also hit up the arcade area where we got "Sticky Pics" done and played on some of the games. We walked around a bit and saw the Statue of Liberty, the Rainbow Bridge and the Tokyo Tower. Then we finished our day off at a buffet and then hit the road. Unfortunately I have caught a cold and have been heading home at about 9:30 so our days haven't lasted very long. But Mom and Dad have now switched hotels to one just up the street from where I live so it's alot easier to travel between the hotels.
A typhoon is said to hit Tokyo tomorrow so I'm hoping that it doens't effect their trip. They were going to go on a bus tour but I'm not
Odaiba
Mom's favourite ride!!! too sure about that anymore. But we'll see. Tonight I met them after work and we went for dinner and just talked for a few hours. They walked me home and met some other fellow e-villagers and then we called it a night. So, that's it so far....part II is yet to come. Miss you all!!
Love always,
Megs
