Buenos Aires
Th flag, the Tower/miniture Big ben given to them by England. Ahh beautifulYippee we made it!!! and of course we went straight out!! As the saying goes, When in Rome do as the Romans do!!! So of course we did what any self respecting Argentinian does, Parties!!! Our lovely friend Jane, took us to her favourite restaurant, yummy steak and vegies!!! Then we met up with some of her Argentinian friends at a club/bar which was wicked but over crowded. One of her friends told kate to pick any male in the club, and he would get him for her??? It was an early night, home by 2am.
Felt a little tired, but had a good day wandering around the city. Went to La Boca where back in the early 1900s the italian immigrants painted the houses with the left over boat paint, to make there houses look pretty as they are just iron, rust doesnt look to crash hot!! It is an old port, which is now not used. The river is polluted and the place has a distinctive smell about it. However the pretty colourful houses make up for it. Again Jills stomach called, so red red wine and empanadas were eaten, yummy!!!!
Got back early so we could
get ready for our Wine tasting and tango show!! Yes Jane, oh isnt she great, organised for us to go to a free Argentinian wine tasting. It was is spanish, but hey all you need to do is drink, oops taste the wine, and nod your head. At the end we even got a free bottle of wine!!!
The Tango show was really good, yet again we ate and drank yummy red red wine!!! But after all that red wine, we headed home for an early evening (1am) to rest up for our big night out on Thursday!!!

great to here you are both having a good time i am back from melbourne we had a great time as you great food italian of course fair was good spent time with pam walking around hide from stusue funny so you are probably in england now so your liver will settle,love you both and jill remember about rushing desisions and i think you have done it again just your 2 mum talking have a good flight love mum
