So good to be in the hill country of Sapa. Had a great day walking round the hill tribe villages with the good company of aussies Geoff and Barbara. The H'mong people of Sapa are very distinctive in their black clothing, red hats etc set against green rice paddies. They're fun to interact with - they are only too happy to welcome us into their homes and try to sell us handicraft. There are some real characters. Did the same again the next day in a fairly random wander before the rain came in te late afternoon and had the rivers running swift chocolate. Off to China tomorrow.

Had heard there had been lots of rain in that part of the world. Watch out for those rivers, and the strange bugs. Mum getting out again now. Take care and enjoy.
