About to start tripping around again

Today is the day that we leave Mykonos to start tripping around the rest of Europe. Again the 6 days have gone really fast but they have been great. I have got rid of the cough and beginning of cold that I had, ready to catch it all over again when we meet up with the rest of the group who went to Egypt. (Glad I didn't decide to go to that part of the world, would have given Mum a few more grey hairs I'm sure!)

Have spent the time relaxing by the sea and pool, reading books, I guess having a real holiday rather than the rush rush rush that contiki tends to be.

We went into Mykonos town two nights ago to have dinner. We sat at a restaurant by the sea, so close in fact that we could feel the sea spray as the waves crashed in. Watched the sunset, very pretty. I guess I'm just a romantic at heart because we all just sat and watched. We went down the road to a small bar that Brad our tour manager had recommended, they started happy hour early for us which was nice, mmmm the chocolate martini was very nice.

So not a lot to report, we are over half way through now. Have also now booked the rest of my trip, going to Manchester Ireland and Germany. So looking forward to that part aswell.

Just had one of the tour party comment on how tanned I am looking, the same person who was commenting on the white snowman look when I arrived, hey not everyone has Italian blood like him, or lives in Australia. But have enjoyed the warm weather, will have to make the most of it as it will get colder the further north we are heading.

Anyway have to go now and finish packing, the bus leaves at 12:15 but have o be checked out by 11:30. As nice as a BTE (Better time elsewhere) would be in the Greek Islands, the restof thetrip is also quite appealling.

Hi, Phillipa, Just managed to get onto your blog and happened to review your travels backwards so managed to see your tan getting lighter and whiter. Looks like you are having a great time, socailising and relaxing, somehow can't see you missing the work. See you soon, take care.
