North Star bobbed and bounced her way to Anse Saint Nicholas yesterday afternoon and managed to make her way to this beautiful anchorage. It was the roughest water so far complete with a squall as we entered the narrow channel. We had to hover for a while before dropping the anchor because it was pouring rain.

We had to move farther from shore at low tide but remained in this picturesque bay completely protected from all winds and swells. At low tide, there is a natural break wall across the entrance. Our neighbours were the French couple we met yesterday at the dock.

We left today and are on our way to Bay Trinite. It is sunny and a little lumpy but very manageable. We had no internet or cell connection last night and we may not have it again tonight.

i will add pictures when we stop.

You're sure making good time!
We just got home from the Rideau today & had no internet or cell a few times but now I will try to call you & will understand if you have no service. We stayed with 2 couples from Newfoundland & the one couple just moved to Bath from Lewisport 2 years ago, their names were Barb & Geoff Goodyear & the other couple were Marilyn Brocklehurst & I forget the husbands name but she was a Ross & born & reasied in St.John's & said she went to school with Jerry's sisters. Should I be doing these e-mails just toy your e-mail instead of on this comment page?? Safe cruising. Love you, Peg & Bob xo
