Trek scenery, Luang Prabang, LaosA steamy four hour trek through the countryside, ending with a refreshing swim at the base of a glorious waterfall occupied the most part of today. Although the trek was lengthy, it was nice to get out & get some exercise. I am beginning to get used to being sweaty all the time & Vicki jokingly refers to it as our 'feminine glow'... Sunset was spent at the temple atop Mt Phousi. Unfortunately it wasn't as spectacular as the first night's sunset, but it was still pretty. Afterwards we got rained out trying to get to our restaurant & after a little confusion, ended up back at the guest house for some great Laos food, a few drinks and unfortunately Australia getting beaten by Brazil in the Soccer World Cup.
