hey all!!! the internet on the island has been down for DAYS now and the blog site wasn't working for weeks- i tried to have mom send out a blanket email to everyone but i'm not sure if she was able to or not. i miss everyone SOOO much, but no worries i'm having a great time here! lauren- u're right i'm one of the guys, as always so i've now been accepted into the "family". i've actually been given my own bar, the AM Bar, it's down on the beach- they serve breakfast and lunch down there- i work from 10- 8:30, LOOOOOONG day but i have a lot of fun, i make a MEAN milkshake now- mmmm yummy, i lost about 15 lbs that i'm sure i'll gain back now!! haha, let's hope not though, considering i'm running up and down 127 stairs every day not to mention the extra quarter mile hill after it to get to work (yeah, i actually took the time to count the stairs- talk about out of breath after that one- yeish!)... so yeah, i have my own bar but since we're so understaffed right now (eh hem josh u should come out and work here!!!) i'm helping out with the kitchen staff bussing tables and stuff like that, but it's cool cuz i get to go out and meet the guests while they're sitting around and advertise the bar etc etc etc... so my day basically consists of waking up putting on my bikini, shorts and a tank, walking down 127 stairs and a quarter mile to the beach, clear tables, set up the bar, bartend for a few hours and attempt to eat lunch during it, clear tables again, close down the bar and the rest of the hall, head up and eat with the bus boys and dini (my roommate and best bud here), head up to the reception bar (the bar that i used to tend the first month i was here), hang out with all the guys that work during the day for about an hour or so, head to the room to shower and nap, go down to the paladium to hang out with the bus boys and help out there, and go to bed... pretty much every day is the same except wednesday is cross dressing night, thursday is an elvis impersonator, and saturday is the toga party- it's all craziness, but it's a blast to work here, the staff my age really bonds together- especially since we all live together... more than one occasion i've come back to the guys passed out one our beds "hey dude, what're u doin?" "u're pillow smells like girl, mmmm" "riiiiiight" hahaha!!! i'm almost out of time, still no way to post pics- but i've been taking TONS so u can see em all... nick i miss u tons- sorry i couldn't respond back to ur emails, moe u too honey, rochelle rochelle i REALLY hope u can come visit, jake i managed to SERIOUSLY piss off all the aussies asking about fosters and the crocodile dude, josh i hope u come work here u'd have a blast, mom dad UD UJ i love you bunches i wish i could get ahold of u more (@ all, i miss ur voices!!!) the rest of the familia, thank you thank you thank you for ur messages they keep me going, i LOVE to read them!!!! miss you all TONS i'll write again soon as i can and leave you some stories, i've got some funny ones!!! XOXOXOXOXOXOOXOXOXOXOXOX ps care packages/letters/post cards all VERY welcome!
