After a hard morning eating, drinking and watching football.
Well theres not too much to write about Bariloche. It rained as you probably guessed from the cunning title...... actually it rained a hell of a lot!! 3 days to be precise. NONSTOP!!! I have never seen rain like it before in my life. It just didn´t let off. The clouds contained a neverending barrage of water! We really wanted to see a massive storm but all we got was 1 bolt and 1 rumble. We found out that it was only the second time that it had happened in 6yrs so we had to count ourselves lucky(ish).

Anyway... because of the rain we didn´t really get to see much of Bariloche. The mountains were covered in thick grey cloud and the lake just seemed to blend in with the sky. It was a bit disappointing because all we´d heard on the way round Argentina was how beautiful and amazing Bariloche actually was.

We did brave the rain on a few occasions but mostly only to eat. We ate a lot!! On our last day we decided to go crazy and do one of the walks whether it was raining or not. Luckily for us it wasn´t, well not

We went bowling one night and much to our amusement we had to score ourselves and the pins were put back manually!
badly and on and off. The walk was to a nearby village called Suiza Colonia (or something like that). There wasn´t much there but they did a nice apple strudle! It was a pretty easy going walk until we made some detours!! Teamleader Nick and his sidekick Sally had us climbing cliffs, jumping rivers and forreging through thorny bushes!!

Aside from the scenery, Bariloche is well known for its chocolate which suprisingly tasted like any other chocolate. Nothing special. Bit of a tourist trap!

Anyway that was Bariloche, sorry it was so boring.... did i mention it rained!!?
