Sorry for such a long delay interent isnt great here! SInce the last post our last full day in Pai we spent at a hot springs whihc was very cool 80 degrees in parts and mixed with river water to make pools to bathe in, our final morning e paid to use a hotels pool for a little luxury!
3 and a half hour bus back to Chang Mai dinner then flew down to Phuket, landing at 1 am and a ferry at 8 am our student bank accounts encouraged us to spend a night in the airport ( i dont think soph will ever be the same again!) After a less then perfect night sleep we ran in to our first attempotof a scam. The cab driver tried to trebel the agreed price and airort standard rate, attepting to scam us after very little sleep the man was subjected to a lot of yeling sophie demand to stop the car, tourist police and even sueing! A little dramatic perhaps but was very bad timing!! We are glad to say we won the fight and pai what had been agreed ( more then he deserved!)
Once at the Port
we took a nice and sunny 2 hour boat trip to Koh Phi Phi where we currently are. phi Phi is quite literally paradise! The film The Beach was filmed here and lots of the postcards of thailand are the beaches round here. We've met up with one of osophie school friend and her boyfriend and have enjoyed dancing on the beach for the last two nights. today was ment to be a boat trip but non stop rain has made us post pone till tomorrow.
Sorry not the most exciting post has taken 3 attempts as computer keeps crashing. current plan i top stay on Phi Phi till 15th then head to ralley beach which is a penisular near Krabi.

Hey Bea, I was getting worried that you'd been kidnapped, but the return to appalling spelling convinces me it is you!!! Well done for resisting the scam. Beach looks great, and I'm sure it is lovely and warm regardless of the clouds. Njoy, Dadxx
