Just Like Coming Home :-)

Well it is finally my turn to write somethin (much to William's Horror) Firstly it has been soooo exciting to read all your lovely comments the kids think it is great. So we have made it safe and sound to our wonderful friends Phil and Katy's. Funny thing was for all my organising I didn't bring their address (also thought I would remember how to get there - well guess 13 years clouds ones directionaly ability :-() Sor after driving around for an extended period of time we stumbled - i mean literally by accident upon Katy's mum and dads house (that we visited once when we lived here) after knocking on their neighbours door we were pointed in the right direction and gave them quite the shock - only I would turn up at someones house saying 'hi do you remember me? we can't find your daughters house' LOL. So we were kindly pointed in the right direction and arrived later than hoped but at least we arrived! Last night after feeling a little vague realised I had been awake for 24hours so popped myself into bed.

Had a lovely UK fathers day taking Andrew to the first of NUMEROUS English pubs he wants to visit and if you look at the picture you will see us enjoying our Sunday roast - funnily enough we have a photo exactly the same on the wall of our dining room taken 13years ago (our last lunch before we left in '99) even sitting in the same seat just funnily enough there are some extra beautiful little people with us so very nice indeed. We then took a stroll on Box Hill hoping to find some Austen inspiration for William's first novel so we will have to wait and see how we go on that one.

Taken the kids to the old stomping ground showing them our old units and where we used to hang out, i think Andrew and I may have been a little more excited than them and are now discussing coming back for a year :-) Lucy NOT keen. Talk again soon - why we have the Robson internet anyway!!!

Atop the hill
What a coincidence they showed Jane Austin's Emma on TV last night and the uppercrust people had a picnic on Box Hill with tables with cloths, china and silver all hauled up the hill by the servants while they sat around under a couple of trees waiting to be fed. My how it has changed. By the way who won the race down the hill. :) :)
