That's us, group 1801 in front of the 80 + steps we're getting ready to climb.
We didn't have anything official to do today so Evelyn took us on a tour of the Tengwang Pavilion. It was right here in town so we were there in no time. This place was first built back in 653 AD but it's been rebuilt 29 times, most of the times because of fire.

It was an interesting place, they put on a short musical-signing thing that's included with admission. The view from the top balcony was pretty awesome but we didn't hang out there long, not with the temperature today, that along with a strong wind and rain hitting you in the face. I could have swore it was snow coming down but it's to warm today for it to be snow. Also, 3rd day of thick fog. Evelyn swears the sun does come out here and if fact you wouldn't want to be here in the summer because of the heat and humidity. Sounds like home to me.

There was this really fascinating painting of the mountains out in the Jiangxi province (which is where we are now just not in the country part). I tried to take a picture of it but it really didn't take

well. Not to mention it covers 3 walls in this big room. I'll bet it would be a beautiful place to visit.

After we finished there Evelyn took us to a local restaurant that prepares food safe for us to eat. Funny how important that becomes when you're this far from home. It also makes me wonder how tough the local's stomachs must be. Nothing fancy about the place but looked like a place the locals would frequent not like the restaurant here in the hotel, which seems to attract a lot of suits. The food was very good, only a couple of spicy things but that was what the majority voted for. They brought the food out and put it on the lazy susan so you just rolled it around to get to what you wanted. She also got us to try one of the local beers. Since ice water is out something cold sounds good to me. It was supposed to be a light beer, but could tell if that meant light on calories or alcohol. It wasn't bad, no strong taste or kick and it was cold! Ice cold!

We made a couple of stops

coming back. One of the couples want to go to their son's orphanage so they had to stop by the registrars office to by the fee required for a visit like that. More power to them for going I couldn't do it. Although from what I understand there isn't nearly as many kids in there as there was a few years ago. One of the good side of their economy doing so well over the last few years. The office there is even going to arrange for the foster parents to come to there so they will get to meet them also. It was recommend that they not take their son back though just to keep from getting him upset. Being one year old is plenty of time to get attached to your care givers so it makes since to me.

Tomorrow some of the paper work might be completed but we're still planning another site-seeing trip and a stop by Walmart. Jasmine was jumping out of her seat about that. I swear I need to contact that company and see if I could get them to use her as a spokes person. Depending on the weather as to

Nothing offical
Hey, it sounds more like you all are on vacation rather than on business. I am glad you are enjoying yourself. Thanks for the pictures. It seem from the pictures, that all of you are having fun, even Rose. I hope they both adapt well. But like any vacation the days are ticking away. Going by our time tomorrow you will be gone a week. Oh, Bernice got back at 2 AM this morning. Your mom was awake and heard them drive down to her house. Yes, she woke me up to tell me. [at that time who cares?] :=)) What I amlooking for is for all five of you to get back safe.
