We made it here to San Francisco with only a little bit of "we're going to miss our flight" coming out of Lynchburg. The plane made it out to the runway but we just kept setting there. The pilot came on the overhead and said they had a small maintenance issue but were working with on it. I'm thinking no problem, we have an hour in Charlotte we'll make it. We got all excited when he came back on about 5 minutes later and said it was fixed, started reving up the enginees but then slowed them down again, seems we had to now wait for the air to clear at Charlotte. I guess the plane missed it's window into the place so rather then burn fuel in the air we just set in Lynchburg.
We finally got off the ground a little before 7:00, so now it's time to worry since our connectting flight was suppposed to leave at 7:35. We landed and guess where that gate was.....yep clear on the other side of the terminal. Time to put it in gear and run. They closed the doors right behind us so thankfully they waited a couple of minutes. Thanks US Air for that!
The flight here wasn't to bad, got to see some snow on the grown in the midwest some where and it was a pretty smooth ride. Now we hang out for a couple of hows waiting to board the flight to Beijing. Wonder if any of the others from all the CCAI groups on will be on this flight?
That's all for now, time to find something to eat before we leave.

Ok...I'm lame...just found this today!! I am so excited for all of you. I'm tearing up as I write this...be safe..Looking forward to most posts.
