Today we visited the mountain Jungfraujoch, it is the highest observation point in all of Europe. We had to make sure we woke up early to catch all the trains up the mountains so that we could enjoy the afternoon there. After 3 trains on a very beautiful and scenic journey we finally reached the top and realized that it is even more beautiful up here.. Just as we got there our camera battery died so we had to find somewhere to pretend to want some food so that we could charge the camera to show off this trip.. After that we decided to just walk up on a hill and sit together for a bit and enjoy the picturesque views that look so unreal they should be in a book or in a painting.. You could see for miles all around and the towns looks so cute from the distance.. After this we had a swiss lunch and then decided to walk down the mountain trails as it was only apparently 50 mins to the next train station.. 😊 Once we reached that train station we still had a lot of energy and the views were amazing we decided to walk down to next station.. Little did we know that the path can be quiet steep at times and the next station was quite far.. We had to stop a few times to rest but we eventually made it to the next train station.. 6 km from the top and over 1000 ft down from where we started.. We have a video we will upload as well when we get to a more stable internet place.. lol

After the train ride back to town (which we napped all the way) we headed back to the hostel to see about upgrading to a private room. (our roomies last night decided they wanted to keep everything in a plastic bag and when they were leaving in the morning at about 8 am there was a lot of crunching of the bags.. lol) We were able to work out a deal for 30 swiss francs more a night we got a private room, view of the river and wake up looking at the mountains... needless to say we sat at the window with some beers enjoying the view once we settled in..

For dinner we wanted to try some more swiss food so we headed into the old part of town as that is where it was apparently cheaper and more authentic.. 😊 We ordered some beers and cider and a cheese fondue which was amazing but super expensive.. lol

Well off to relax and tomorrow we are thinking of renting a double electric bike and seeing how far we can travel on it lol
