Library I started in Uganda
17 days!! The count down has been going on for a while, but 17 seems like a good number to start blogging at. I received my airline tickets today- time to start getting crazy excited! If my maths is right (which it probably isn't!), this time in 3 weeks I will be on an overnight train in Egypt!

I'm slowly getting ready for my trip. I did a bit more shopping today- new tops, vitamins and malaria medication! Oh, and it was time for yet another injection. With all of my travel to weird and wonderful places in the last 2 years, I feel like a pin cushion!

I'm also starting to fundraise for my trip to Ethiopia. None of the money I raise will go towards my travel- 100% will be used for a project that I decide on once I arrive. (Thank you again to the people who generously contributed to the library I started in Uganda earlier this year. I have been told the books are being used, and looked after, by all!). So if you are interested in donating money, please contact me by emailing sarahhayward@westnet.com.au :-) Any donation helps- $1 will buy one day's worth of meals for an entire family, while $250 allowed me to set up the primary school library in Uganda.

So, a quick run down on my trip:
08 Oct- 25 Oct: Tour through Egypt and Jordan
25 Oct- 27 Dec: Volunteering in Ethiopia
28 Dec-15 Feb: Volunteering/ working in Senegal

I think this is all I have to report for now- I will fill you in as I get closer to my departure date! If you subscribe to this blog, you will receive emails each time I add what I have no doubt to be the most interesting reading you have ever come across!

Thanks for taking the time to check this blog out. Watch this space :-)

xoxo
